It is a key ingredient in promoting your TV show, band, film, event and other products and services.  How do you generate interest or sales, where can you find a publicist, how do you write a press release and how do you develop your contact list?  What's 300 dpi and how do you write TV billings and a publicity kit?  This workshop focusses on techniques for publicising Maori or Pacific TV shows, music, events, organisations at corporate, community or iwi level.

Maori and Pacific Island Cultural Awareness Training
Maori course: What happens during a Maori welcoming?  What is marae protocol and what’s a waiata?  What does hangi taste like?  Is the Treaty of Waitangi relevant and how does it fit in your workplace?  If you or your staff have ever asked these questions and need cultural familiarisation in a non-threatening environment, Silk Associates can tailor a package to suit you.  This can vary from a one to three day workshop and can be held at your workplace or in a marae setting.  Please note that these courses can be general or iwi specific.
