Associate – Che Wilson (Whanganui) Maori Cultural
Adviser Che’s expertise is in Maori traditional knowledge, language
and iwi development. He has worked as a translator and cultural adviser for
several government departments and for three museums in the UK. In 2006,
Che was a cultural adviser for Cambridge University when the Pasifika Styles
exhibition opened. Che has a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree (International
Relations) and a Maori Language Translator and Interpreter License.
Associate - Bradford Haami (Ngati Awa, Ngati Kahungunu, Kai Tahu, Tuwharetoa) Maori Cultural Advisor Brad is a researcher/writer in Maori oral and written history. He has extensive knowledge of published and unpublished books, journals and manuscripts available in all public libraries throughout New Zealand, as well as in oral archives. Brad is also a lecturer for a number of universities and other tertiary institutions in the areas of Maori history, Matauranga Maori (Maori world view of the natural world), film and television writing, and film making. He has worked as a journalist, film and TV director and producer, script consultant and music composer for film and television. |
